About THE Soaps

The soaps are handmade & contain only natural ingredients so shape and colour may vary by batch. This does not affect product quality.

The essential oils are sourced from members of the Aromatherapy Trade Council to ensure their safety and quality. I don't use any plants that are on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.

The palm oil I use is certified RSPO Sustainable. Palm oil is sometimes boycotted but from what I have read, I believe it is one of the most efficient and sustainable types of oil in terms of yield and water usage. If we boycott palm oil, then we will just need to use another oil which uses more water and more land for the same yield. I am always on the lookout for information about the sustainability of the oils I use and re-evaluate them if I come across any information that is new to me.

Each full size bar weighs approx 130g (4.5oz) and is approx 9.5 x 6 x 2.5cm in size. Travel size bars are half a full size one, so approx 65g (2.3oz) and are approx 4.5 x 6 x 2.5cm in size

Store the unopened soap in a cool, dry area, away from direct sunlight. And store it on a well-draining soap dish while using it to help make it last longer.

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse with water immediately. Pregnant women and children should consult their primary health care providers prior to using essential oils.

And be sure keep out of reach of children. I know that they look like fudge, but please do not eat them.
